Since its inception, COLFORD's raison d'être has been to elevate brand storytelling through gifting in a mindful and meaningful way. This philosophy is applied not only through our criteria for carefully sourced or commissioned gifts, but extends to the way we produce custom unboxing experiences.
In spring 2025, we introduced the COLFORD House Boxes; a thoughtfully designed range of fully recyclable, paper-based packaging styles handmade in the UK.
Each box can be crafted to bespoke specifications - tailored in size, colour and texture - and finished with printing, foiling or embossing processes to convey the desired message and brand codes.
The COLFORD House Boxes offer a range of packaging styles, each with a different purpose. The simple lid and tray style of The Classic is ideal for more two dimensional gifts, whereas the intricate custom insert and tab closure of The Platform can be designed to protect and present any shape.
Also included in the range is a double wall, fluted style - The Mailer - for greater protection of goods in transit and The Drawer - a sheath and tray style for a more dramatic gift reveal.
Rounding out the collection is The Book style with a hinged lid and satisfying vacuum closure, then The Shoulder, complete with an exposed plinth detail which can be rendered in a contrasting tone or texture for a richer unboxing moment.
The COLFORD House Boxes are descendants of our original House Folds collection - a series of gift wrapping techniques that celebrate the inherent beauty of responsibly-sourced materials through specialist paper manipulation.
